Hi guys:D I've had the best two days ever. So I went to my auntie's house and I spent the day there with my cousins looking at old hilarious family photos, watching movies, trying out different scarf styles and just having a great time! When it was time to leave, my cousin and I got together and managed to persuade my aunty to let us stay for a sleepover. So we made up my bedding and sat and watched The Apprentice 2013 Final until midnight when we finally decided to get to bed. The next day we spent having the time of our lives. In the evening we went to my house to drop me off but my cousins family ended up staying for a take away of kebab rolls! They were delicious! Then we prank called a few friends etc. and we had a laugh. THEN I went to their house again! And we baked apple pot crumble, went bike-riding, watched YouTube and then the next day they dropped me home and came to stay for a dinner of lamb rice. IT WAS HEAVENLY!
And today I'm going to try to bake brownies! SO YEAH... I hope they turn out well!
Bye for now!
Woah! This week has been BUSY! I mean really really really busy! My little brother had to go in for a knee operation at GOSH (Great Ormand Street Hospital, clever innit?!) and thank god, praise the lord, they discharged us on the same day! It was soooo boring there. They had a little bedside TV but the programmes on there were rubbish! It was a touchscreen thingamajig so I tapped a 'programme' that said 'Down in the Jungle' *remember this was all for my little brother, certainly not to entertain me!*. Little did I know that the 'programme' was just a pair of old grannies singing and clapping their hands together. And even then the song was rubbish! It went a little something like this: 'Down in the jungle where nobody goes/ theres a great big hippo washing his clothes/With a rubadub here and a rubadub there/ and that's the way he washes his clothes! Now comes the insane part..."AAAAAAH deed a di di dum dee die die/ a diiiiiiiiiiiie/ AAAAAAAH woogie woogie woogie.
Seriously at this part you should have seen my face. I was just like what the shell?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? What are these two grandmas doing?!?!?!? So I really wanted to change the channel but I didn't know how to so I had to sit there, for hours on end, listening to some crazy oldies making the same sounds as a strangled cat...
The only good part was when me and my dad ran out of the hospital when my brother finally went to the theatre (don't worry, its the place where they do the operations!) and bought loads of humongosaurus chocolate croissants! No lie, they were huggggggggggggggggge, the size of my face and trust me I have some fat round Santa Claus face. But they were absolutely delicioooooouuss and we went to the hospital canteen, I got hot chocolate and my dad got white coffee (oohlala!).
Also last week, I was really ill, and people were saying to me you look really rough and awful and tired and whats wrong with you and stuff like you look terrible. Gee, thanks..... Oh and I nearly forgot to tell you that my dad took a mugshot of me and put it on facebook. that was one thing, but then my mum told me that our family in Pakistan all think I was some old grandma looking after my little brother (as a nurse, we were in the hospital)
So yh that's about it (ikr, busy...(!)). Ummmm, not really sure how to end this *awkward*
Bye...(!)
Hi everyone! Wow, it feels like ages since I've written a post!
So I was just FaceTiming the awesome cuzzie today and she gave me a few ideas on what my next post should be about. But, knowing me, I forgot all of them. Come on! Rack your brains! I actually can't remember at all...
Wait...
I'm getting something....
I can feel it in my veins...
And my blood...
Ahhh yes! That's it! She said to do something about how things alwaaaaays go wrong with me...
So as you know, I attend that youth circle thingimajigi in the local mosque every Friday. You know... the one where my candle.......*sniff* died.... Yeah, that's the one.... Y'know, I still haven't had that tantrum yet....
Anywayyyyyyyys, last Friday, we made bags out of t- shirts. Now, the bag wasn't very......glamorous but I touched it up with a bit of bling (aka plastic gems) and it looked decent (well at least for things like sleepover clothes and stuff). But, again, my work of art had failed. I think, the world of creativity has something veryyyyyyy strong against me! And by the time I had reached the car, all the pretty plastic thingies were gone. It was like a ghost story. The Gem-Picker was out on the loose.....
So my £2 went to waste that day.
Basically the moral of this random, pathetic story, is that I am me and luck aren't close friends!
Bye now!
Wow! I don't know what has gotten into me today! I seem to have a very strange obsession with henna designs. It all started a couple of Fridays ago...
So basically, every single Friday, I go to a club that runs in the local mosque and the other week, we were lucky enough to do some candle decorating. It was actually so hard. We had to make a cone out of a sheet of plastic (that was the most difficult part), fill it up with paint and- treating it as if it were henna- decorate the candle. Mine was beautiful (well at least I thought so) until it fell off the table. I just wanted to scream, and yell, and punch the walls but, of course, I conducted myself and promised myself I could have my temper tantrum at home. The paint was smeared everywhere and the candle resembled a massive explosion of silvery mess. Typically, I was heartbroken but at least I got to take some of the equipment needed home, so my £2 didn't exactly go to waste :) and all day today I have been practising on paper and on my candle. I even went onto youtube but those experts are to good for me!
I think candle decorating would make a good hobbie :)
