DIY Avocado Face & Hair Mask

Hey everyone! Today's blogpost is DIY hair mask and face mask made from avocados and a few other ingredients!
Avocados are incredibly healthy- they are packed with healthy fats which help you lose weight, they have a load of potassium and other vitamins which work magic for your skin, hair, nails and eyes and they lower cholesterol and triglyceride levels. Avocados prevent cancer and relieve symptoms of arthritis and they are jammed with anti-oxidants, anti-fungal and anti-viral ingredients. They are known to be one of the healthiest foods in the world!

Now for the mask...
The mask was quick to make (took me around 5 minutes) and it uses ingredients which you will more than likely have in your cupboard. I put the mask on my hair and face and left it there for around 20 minutes. NOW, when I was washing my hair, I noticed that it was really difficult to wash out the avocado, and no lie, I think I was there under the shower for around 45 minutes trying to get out the avocado bits. Even when I finished my shower, there was still some pieces left in which I had to hand pick out. As you can probably imagine, that was very annoying! So, you can choose whether you want to put it in your hair or not, I think with shorter hair it'll be easier or maybe if you mashed up the avocados a bit more so it wasn't so lumpy then it MIGHT be easier, but don't say you haven't been warned! But it worked wonders on my face. My skin felt a lot smoother and healthier and it looked glowing and clear. No exaggeration! If only it looked like that all the time...

Ingredients:
1 medium sized avocado
1/4 cup of olive oil
1 tbsp. lemon juice

All you need to do is chuck everything in a bowl and mix it all together, making sure you mash up the avocado nice and good.
Then apply generously onto your hair-even though I wouldn't personally use it for my hair again-and face and leave it for 15-20 minutes, then just wash as usual.

My hair DID feel smooth and looked a lot shinier, but it was SUCH a pain to wash. Oh well, its up to you! :) For much more noticeable and for permanent changes in your hair (good changes don't worry) repeat this twice a week.

And that's all....
Awkward bit....
Well....
Bye now....
LOL
