Hey guys! So its approaching the end of the half term holidays, which, for me, means I have to pick my options for my GCSE's in a couple of weeks. It's going too fast to believe!
Anyways, I thought I'd just share with you what I've done so far.
SO, like I mentioned in my last blog post, I went to oxford university as a part of a trip with my mosque youth club. It was amazing! The university predates back into the 1600's and was built by the wife of a famous man (I forgot his name XD) who asked his wife to build a university after his death and so she did. The building reminds me of an ancient castle with its turrets and historical foundations. The university is split up into around 40 different colleges depending on the different courses, subjects and degrees. They are actually really posh! They have formal dinners where the students have to dress in their black gowns, go to the main hall and have a three course meal with the rest of the college students. Also, we were meant to see the main hall but they were having a wine-tasting session with all the ministers of the school!
The students get to have their own rooms. they don't have to share with any room-mates but in fact they get massive rooms to themselves! I realllllllllly want to go to Oxford when I'm older. Fingers crossed!
I've also been going to loads of sleepover with the cuzzies where we've been baking brownies, messing around with make-up and much more. We had such fun! I can't forget the way we all started screaming as soon as the lights went out because it was pitch black and then we spent like an hour rearranging the bedding so that we could all sleep together so we weren't so scared. And then in the morning, we had brownies and muffins with frothy hot chocolate and fluffy, sweet, whipped cream on top and finished the delicate shavings of divine chocolate. IT WAS HEAVENLY!
We also went to the hospital for my little brother as he had an appointment at GOSH. This meant we had to wake up at 6 in the morning and get ready by 8 o'clock for the hospital transport to come pick us p. They came an hour late meaning we woke up early for no reason! But then we had a nice long nap in the ambulance- well my dad certainly did, he was snoring his head off! We got there and were seen straight away but then the ophthalmologist had to consult with some senior person and we were told to wait 20 minutes but that turned into 2 hours. I just entertained myself by playing with all the kiddie toys and painting on paper plates. I tried so hard to make it come across as though I was only playing to accompany my little bro but I was sooooo bored!
So that's all I've been up to in the hols.
So yeah...

Well, bye, I guess...
Daym, why is this bit always so awkward? O_o (!)
